Guys, What exactly does the quarter inching valve control, and if its a real benifit could I have it fitted to my B7500.

I've never heard of having one installed as you suggested but it is a good feature. It keeps your lift or lowering to 1/4" intervals unless you move the lever to the full up or down position. This is nice when working something like a box blade for fine tuning. ....

Art, that's interesting. I have found mine moves slowly in the 1/4" position, but doen't work in increments. It just moves slowly. Is the system designed to move in increments, even if the control lever is held in the first incremental position? I've got about 60hrs worth of fussing with this 1/4" valve and not sure I have it right yet. ....

The ability to fine tune the positioning seems like
an extra good idea.Would that also work on the mower deck.I talked to Kubota Australia and they didn't know If could
be fitted up to the B7500.

You can achieve nearly the same result (moving the 3 point very slowly) by fine tuning the drop valve and then reducing the engine to idle anytime you need a fine adjustment when raising it. ....

Beagle, you have to keep moving it repeatedly for each 1/4" of movement you need. Unlike a standard hitch where they are harder to index as to exactly your hitch movement will be.
